  1. I’ve always preferred Sharp Scientific calculators they are so neat and easy to use. I got this calculator because I had to leave my previous sharp behind in another country, so I got this one to replace it. The controls on it have not changed much at all, so it was easy to just jump in it again. Sharp is one of the few brands I did not need the instruction booklet for. However, I do recall my old one having a cardboard in the calculator covering with formulas and such…I do miss that as this one does not come with it.

  2. This was one of 2 calculator allowed for my Intro to Chem class. IT doesn’t have anything on the back plate, it fact, it’s clear. It has a folded up pamphlet type book that you have to unfold all the out to read anything. It’s like a map fold. The tips and shortcuts are easy to understand. It good calculator for a cheap price. And the batteries aren’t hard to find either. I found one problem with it. when you have the calculator facing you straight on the font is a little light to read but when you have it laying down and looking down at it at an angle this it is nice and sharp. Might just be mine. Who knows.

  3. It’s a nice calculator that I’m using for my university physics class. Does what it’s programmed for and for what I need it for. (Very good for $8)

  4. Nice calculator, it has all the functions needed for basic algebra as well for scientific subjects. Easy to use, intuitive!

  5. I bought this for my calc course and really makes my day, it is so easy to type formula on it, really recommended for those who wants simplicity and accuracy.

  6. I absolutely love this calculator. It works perfectly and looks great. It has everything I need for my pre algebra class

  7. I needed this calculator for my KIN300 class. It was cheap and it got me through the entire semester without any problems. This one only has 2 lines of screen instead of 4 lines that the more expensive one’s offer. However, you can do everything on this calculator that you can do on the more expensive version. So if you are a poor college kid and don’t care about 2 more extra lines and would rather save 10$, get this version of the calculator.

  8. Bought it for a class (INDT 74 at Chabot College). Easy to use, having used a TI-30 before. Best feature so far is the fractions button, which converts decimals to fractions and back again. Otherwise, fairly standard scientific calculator. No issues if you have a basic understanding or have used other scientific calculators before.

  9. You can pay more for a scientific calculator, especially if you need a rugged one to carry with you on the field, but this is going to be sitting on my desk 95% of the time so why pay more. It has all the functions I need and more. The shipping was extremely fast and even though I live in a remote area it got here in 2 days. Sharp makes some great calculators. I had one for 25 years and had to change the battery maybe twice. This one feels a little light though.

  10. Just bought my son his second one. Loved it so much he didn’t want any other. Broke his first one after having it for a year (dropped his bookbag…)

  11. I have used this calculator through middle school PreAP Algebra, high school AP Physics, PreAP Chemistry, both Algebra classes, and AP Calculus. I love this calculator! The shortcuts were definitely thought out by someone who was a recent student: all of the operations that are most used in math classes such as the root operation, exponent, log, pi, sin, etc are quick to use–no going through lists like other calculators. I also love that you can quickly change from the degree mode to the radians mode. Even in Algebra II when we needed a graphing calculator, I either brought my graphing calculator and the Sharp or used the class graphing calculators and my Sharp. I threw the cover to the side years ago (I hate calculator covers), but it looks like I bought it a year ago.I have the green, and my best friend got the white for her birthday after she kept taking mine back in high school. I’m now in college, and now that the difficulty of math has greatly decreased, this calculator greatly suits me. I stopped looking for new/better calculators after I bought this one.I like the shiny face. It is very light, not clunky or bulky. This calculator lives up to it name, and it is the only calculator (in its price range and category-scientific calculator) that I’d call Sharp.

  12. I teach Research Stats for both a private college and for a large, state university. I make all my students get this calculator. It’s inexpensive, and it’s powerful (capable of fully handling bi-variate data). Intuitive — easy to use. And, it runs on LR44 batteries – easy and cheap to obtain in dollar stores.

  13. it works

  14. It answers problems

  15. Really great and works well. Super easy to operate. This is exact model my professor recommended.

  16. Been using this brand for quite a while. On my third calculator but worth it…

  17. was just as described

  18. great calculator for the price. The buttons don’t have the click that I like, but overall good.

  19. Awesome scientific calculator! Very clear display and does all the calculations that I put it through well. All in a cheap price as well. This was a great buy and I’d recommend it to any college student on a budget.

  20. great calculator for school

  21. Good product.

  22. Works amazingly. Bought this as my previous one had the screen shatter somehow in my backpack. Feels great and the screen is bright. Would like some solar power somewhere but the battery on my last one lasted around 3 years before the screen… The protector definitely helps as i’ve dropped it and have it hit a sharp surface on the face of the calculator many times but had the cover on to shield it from most damage.

  23. Just what she needed

  24. Exactly what I needed for stats. Make sure your professor knows how to use and teach how to use this calculator or else you’re going to have to spend some time playing around with it.

  25. I upgraded from my 1985 Sharp calculator that I used in college and no longer works. This is a nice calculator.

  26. Good one. Thanks

  27. nice and works great.

  28. See title.

  29. 🤓👍🏻👍🏻

  30. Works great … fell coupls times on hardwood floor still in one peice .. strong

  31. Works well. I appreciate how it converts to binary and hexadecimal. My only complaint is that laptop sticks don’t stick to the case, and that’s something that I like to do with calculators.

  32. I got the Sharp calculator to replace an older version that I had for about 20 years. It works great and the display shows exactly what you enter. The price was very good and I’m happy with it.
